BACKGROUND

 

The journey of the regional conference on Marine Technology began in 1998. Since then this conference had been organised biennially until 2008 based on the concept that of the ASEAN countries will form a regional network and cooperation between academics and industries. After the success of these biennial regional conferences, this time it is going to take place as an international event. This international conference on Marine Technology (MARTEC 2010), Dhaka is an effort for providing a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and research works in various areas of Marine Technology.The history of MARTEC is as follows:
